As the kitting CSR you are responsible for the kitting brief, scheduling the job, preparing the job bag with all relevant paperwork and overseeing it until completion. There will also be a requirement to answer any kitting queries that may arise from kitting team and Account Managers.

Job Overview

As the kitting CSR you are responsible for the kitting brief, scheduling the job, preparing the job bag with all relevant paperwork and overseeing it until completion. There will also be a requirement to answer any kitting queries that may arise from kitting team and Account Managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Price the job using the kitting brief supplied by the Account Manager. i.e. packing method, number of personnel required to kit the job, packaging material required and estimated time it will take to kit the job.   You will forward on the estimate cost via our system equator on to the relevant Account Manager, who process the query on Equator.  
  • Prepare the kitting job bag by including relevant paperwork, courier labels and any other elements.  
  • Prior to the scheduled kitting of the job, you will liaise with warehouse manager to find out when each of the elements required to kit the job have been delivered and to ensure they are available to kit. Once all received the job will commence.
  •  Attend a daily warehouse meeting to discuss the schedule.
  • Keep the Account Manager informed of the status of their kitting order. If there are any issues in relation to the kitting job or lead time for completion and despatch, you must inform the Account Manager immediately.  
  • The updated kitting log is emailed to the Account Managers each evening to update them on the status of kitting jobs.
